Overview


Inverness Club, a Donald Ross designed golf course which opened in 1903, is hosting its seventh USGA Championship and second U.S. Senior Open. Previously the Club hosted four U.S. Opens (1920, 1931, 1957 and 1979), the 2003 U.S. Senior Open and the 1973 U.S. Amateur. Inverness has also hosted the 1986 and 1993 PGA Championships.

Fans will be able to see in person some of the great names in golf – champions whose careers and accomplishments we all have followed with great interest through the years: Watson, Couples, Azinger, Norman, Perry, Crenshaw, Langer, Lietzke, Zoeller, O’Meara, Cook, Haas, Mize, Stadler, Kite, Lehman, Tway, Funk, Roberts, Pavin, Jacobsen, Calcavecchia . . . are all eligible to compete and attempt to capture yet another significant piece of golf history at Inverness Club.
