Overview

The Constellation Senior Players Championship will move to Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh in 2012. After five years of being played in the fall, the tournament moves to a mid-summer date on the 2012 Champions Tour schedule.  (June 28-July 1). Fred Couples captured the 2011 Constellation Senior Players Championship at Westchester Country Club for his first Champions Tour major when he defeated John Cook in a sudden-death playoff last August.

"It is with great pride that Fox Chapel Golf Club welcomes championship golf back to the Pittsburgh area," said Club President Arthur Scully. "We are honored and excited to host the Constellation Senior Players Championship and to welcome many of the games greatest champions. We are also pleased that local charities will benefit from what we know will be a very well-received major golf tournament for the entire region."

The Constellation Senior Players Championship attracts one of the best fields of the Champions Tour season, including such names as defending champion Fred Couples, 2011 Champions Tour Player of the Year Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples, Tom Watson and Mark Calcavecchia.
