As the winner of the 2009 Champions Tour Presidents' Award for best tournament, the 3M Championship continues to set the standard of excellence on the Champions Tour. Each year, the tournament is played at the TPC Twin Cities, a course designed by legendary golfer and golf course designer, Arnold Palmer. Consistently one of the most popular events in the
Minneapolis area each year, the tournament's success is a reflection of the support that it receives from local golf fans and corporate sponsors. Over the past 17 years, the 3M Championship has contributed over $15 million for various local charities.
